Brentwood Home to School 2017-18
Brentwood School Appoint CoachHire.com for Home to School Management
17 July 2017, Brentwood, Essex – Brentwood School have partnered with CoachHire.com to improve safety & greatly reduce congestion on their students’ journeys to and from school by implementing the unique SchoolSafe technology.
From the start of the 2017/18 school term CoachHire.com will manage and supply six routes carrying 150 students from across Essex to and from the School. CoachHire.com will also begin implementing their SchoolSafe technology that securely tracks the service and records passengers boarding and alighting, giving parents & schools staff complete peace of mind that their children have boarded the service as expected.
The SchoolSafe apps have been designed in partnership with leading UK schools to meet their safeguarding requirements and enable: parents to see where the vehicles are and what time they’re due at the stop; schools to see all vehicles at once with real-time tracking; and instant notifications for parents & school when children board the service.
Matthew Davis, Bursar at Brentwood School, sees the service providing great improvements to the congested school rush hours:
I witnessed CoachHire.com in operation at another school and was hugely impressed with it. I hope we will be able to achieve the same benefits to safeguarding and efficiency that the system offers as they clearly have.
Brentwood are looking to double the number of home to school routes over the coming terms in order to combat congestion and reduce the environmental impact of cars on the roads during the morning and evening peaks.
Following the successful commencement of managed transport services at North London Collegiate School in September 2016, CoachHire.com are looking to include a further 20 UK schools in the programme for the 2017/18 school year and are actively seeking schools with which to partner. Their SchoolSafe technology can be deployed on existing routes or as part of the fully-managed service, including risk assessments, service controllers and ongoing service improvements.
