Promoting driver safety for the next generation
CoachHire.com are proud to be supporting Kent Fire and Rescue by providing and managing student transport for the “Licence to Kill?” event, held between 6th and 9th November in three venues across Kent.
CoachHire.com will be managing and providing 112 coaches and buses to transport the 5,400 students to and from the event and their expert teams will be monitoring throughout ensuring the safety and comfort of travellers on each journey.
The event involves over 5,400 students from 50 schools across the four days and will cover the risks of illegal driving and bad practices that are responsible for many of the deaths and injuries on UK roads each year. A live film experience will bring the consequences of a road traffic collision to life and will help to inform the next generation of drivers about how they can avoid potential catastrophe and enjoy their time behind the wheel.
CoachHire.com Managing Director, Mathew Hassell, is pleased that the company are supporting the safety-focused event: “We are dedicated to setting new standards of safety in the school transport industry and are delighted to be working with organisations that share our passion for safer roads.”
CoachHire.com have been developing technology and management solutions aimed at improving and maintaining the safeguarding of children across the country on their way to and from school. In the last year the company has entered into partnership with more than ten schools and councils to install tracking technology and transport management on their home to school routes and it is their aim to sign up a further 140 schools before the end of 2019.
