T20 Finals Day

Four teams, three matches, two finalists and one winner. Nothing beats the excitement of T20 Finals Day. With this year’s Finals Day already sold out, why not book your tickets in advance for the 2019 Finals Day when they go on sale on the 17th September. With it being such a spectacular day, tickets usually sell out before the start of the group stages so, take a gamble on your team and book early to avoid disappointment.

In 2017, there was a record attendance at Finals Day with the new 850-seater West Stand being introduced at Edgbaston. On the day, over 1,000 runs were made within the three matches which is a record at a Finals Day. Between the Semi-Finals and Final, enjoy the famous mascot race where all counties mascots race each other around the ground dealing with various obstacles. As a Worcester fan, I have never experienced the crocodile winning the mascot race but let’s hope this year will change that!

If you are undecided on what stand to opt for, The Eric Hollis Stand is the best stand for groups as it is recognised worldwide for the fancy dress & electric atmosphere. For the last three years, The Eric Hollis Stand has been voted the best atmosphere stand in the world.

Parking around the ground is very limited due to road closures. If you are planning on going with a group of friends, then the best way to travel there is by minibus or coach. It enables you to be picked up from your doorstep and dropped off right outside Edgbaston.

Grand National

75,000 attendees at Aintree Racecourse, 8.5 million TV viewers (2 million more viewers than the 2017 Bake Off Final!) – that just shows how exciting the Grand National is.

The Grand National meeting starts in April and runs for 3 days from Thursday to Saturday with the most famous 8-minute race being held on the Saturday at 5:15pm. The 2018 Grand National was one of the most exciting races with Tiger Roll just beating Pleasant Company by a short head to be one of the few horses to win at the Cheltenham Festival and then win the Grand National.

If you are planning on a party and going as a group of 50+, you will get a 5% discount on Grand National day, this offer ends on the 11th of January 2019 so book early. (This discount only applies for the Steeplechase Enclosure and Festival Stand). We have a range of Executive and VIP coaches which are perfect for Corporate Events and Parties. Click here for more details on our vehicles.

If it is your first time going to Aintree Racecourse, then the best enclosure to go into is the Lord Sefton or Earl of Derby Stand which offers breath-taking views over the racecourse and a unique angle which overlooks the start/finish line. Due to the popularity of the Grand National, please be aware that most enclosures sell out the year before so book early to get early bird prices.

Be there to see Tiger Roll try and repeat the success of last year’s heroics for Trainer Gordon Elliott.

British Grand Prix

Did you know that it could be the last Formula One race held at Silverstone in 2019? If the 2019 race is as dramatic as the 2018 one, then you are in for a treat.

From the start, there was drama with Kimi Raikkonen forcing Lewis Hamilton off the track which put Hamilton into last place but Raikkonen was given a 10-second penalty. Then there was drama near the end where Vettel overtook Bottas to gain the lead which he kept until the end.

In addition to the great racing, there is also an incredible line up of entertainment & activities across the weekend which fans can enjoy.  In previous years, acts have included Melanie C, National Anthem, Alesha Dixon & Kaiser Chiefs.

If you are unsure on what package to choose for the 2019 British Grand Prix, then the Silver Grandstand is the perfect package for a reasonable price; You even get your choice of seat in the Grandstand. On Sunday, you will be allocated a seat within the Grandstand due to the number of attendees on race day.

Silverstone offers a great group package which grants you & your friends access to the inside of the track. This will gain you entry to the viewing banks and in addition, you will have behind the scenes access to the national and support race paddocks. Please be aware that these tickets are limited so book early to enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.

Henley Regatta

The Henley Regatta is one of the best-known and glamorous regattas in the world. The event attracts thousands of attendees over a five-day period. With over 200 races happening at the event.

If you are not a massive fan of the rowing but still want to enjoy the event with your friends then a variety of top class restaurants, bars & shops are at the Regatta. Also, you can see the stunning views of Henley and the River Thames.

The best day to go at the Regatta is on the last day, with the races all being finals then this makes it the busiest day of the event creating a great atmosphere.

Ticket prices vary from £25 to £35 depending on what day that you are attending. Parking can become very limited unless you book in advance. If you are going as a group, then getting a coach/minibus is the best way to travel to the Regatta so you & your friends can be dropped off right outside the event in style by one of our Executive/VIP vehicles and drivers. Skip the long walk, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the Regatta with your friends.

With all these great events happening across the UK and more & more people valuing experiences over things, there has never been a better time to gather your friends, family or colleagues for a great day out that everyone will remember.
